HOW TO HELP IN 2010:

Operation
Christmas
Child
Operation Christmas Child is a unique and exciting outreach ministry
of Samaritans Purse, an organization directed by Franklin Graham,
son of Billy Graham. Operation
Christmas Child distributes gift-filled shoe boxes to poor, sick, and
suffering children located in countries outside the United States. People
like us, who prepare shoe boxes, filled with simple gifts, who pray,
and support Operation Christmas Child, will make the biggest impact
on these children. We
can bring joy to innocent children who have suffered from poverty,
war and disease. To
know more about what gifts to place in the shoeboxes and how to pack
the items, pick up brochures from the mailbox beside the trailer in
the First Baptist Church Pflugerville parking lot at the corner of
FM 1825 and 10th Street or come by the church office at 306
S. 10th St., 251-3052. You can also go to the Samaritans Purse website CLICK HERE to order free supplies. We
encourage you to enlist the groups or organizations you attend to
also become involved in Operation Christmas Child. A video presentation is also available.
Community-wide participants may take their shoe box gifts to FBC at
any scheduled service or to the semi-traveler at the FBC collection
point during the drop-off times shown to the left...
